IOSH Managing Safely
The IOSH Managing Safely course is at the very heart of successful health and safety by involving those who have responsibilities for others and it is designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.
Organised into 8 modules, the IOSH Managing Safely course takes the delegate through the health and safety issues relevant to today’s manager without off putting legal language and jargon being necessary. The programme encourages delegate involvement through video, discussions, group exercises, quizzes and case studies.

Who Should Attend?
Managing safely is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation. It’s designed to get managers up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams.
Course Duration
Available as a 4 day programme with the practical assessment completed after the course finishes, or a 5 day option incorporating the practical assessment within the course timetable.

Assessment Criteria
The course is assessed with a 45 minute n end of course closed book test and a practical application. The practical application consists of a risk assessment exercise which can be completed within the 5 day course or completed in the delegates own workplace following the 4 day programme.
