NEBOSH Award in Health and Safety at Work

The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award provides a best practice introduction to workplace health, safety, and risk that is relevant to all industry sectors

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who needs to understand the principles of health and safety as part of their job will benefit from taking this qualification including:  

Course Duration

This course is taken over 3 days, with a practical application undertaken outside of the course in the candidates own workplace. Alternatively the course can be offered as a 4 day option, with day 4 including revision and the practical application.

Course Content

Available in day or block release, the course will cover:

Health and Safety at Work Award (HSW1)

Practical Assessment (HSA1)

A review of your workplace in relation to how health and safety is managed, together with any issues that may arise and how risk maybe reduced.

This should take around 3 hours and will be marked by your training provider.
